I am not sure why this is considered a "Further National Security Goals". The museum, however, does work with NASA on some projects but that was the closest I could find to "national security".

What national security goals, in particular, could the museum of natural history possibly serve? Is it to protect the " 25 interconnected buildings that house 46 permanent exhibition halls, research laboratories, and its renowned library"? What "research" could they possibly be doing that could further "national security goals? Are they going to protect us from future attacks of dinosaurs? Give me a break. Just call it what it is... a payback by a couple of NY reps to rich donors who live near the museum. It's probably just a cover for putting high-tech surveillance cameras in the area so they can monitor who comes and goes at Isabellas.
