Short Description of Recipient Organization: 
The Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies (CIMS) at Rochester Institute of Technology was established in 1992 with a mission to increase the competitiveness of manufacturers through applied technology and training.

CIMS represents a dynamic collaboration of in-house technical experts, as well as academic, industry and government resources. Located on the campus of Rochester Institute of Technology, our unique, world-class facility houses three centers, four major programs, and an all-encompassing training program.

While I appreciate the contributions of sheby35, I question the accuracy of the response to the question “Have employees of the recipient collectively contributed more than $20,000 to candidates for federal office during the current and last election cycle? “ If the number of employees cannot be determined and the top personnel are not listed, a more correct response in my option would be unknown. I wished I lived in the area, because it would be interesting to know the where the source of the lobbyist payments, and what benchmark measurements are being used to determine if the program has any real success in achieving its goals.
