This company does not make a "plasma sterilizer" and if they are thinking of starting to make on...why are we the tax payers funding them. Sterrad (http://ASP.com) is a world wide company based out of Ca. and already makes the best "plasma sterilizer" Who or what are we really funding here

Also from the article: "Phygen has received about $3.5 million from the Department of Defense-U.S. Army to develop new ways to sterilize surgical and medical instruments in combat-support hospitals"

From my own research here, Phygen started lobbying in earnest this year with $20,000 going to the DLM Group. The lobbyists are William B. Driggers, former military and alum of The Citadel in South Carolina, I believe; Marcus P Lubin, former Chief of Staff for a Republican Congressman; and Claude V. Meadows. Previous years show Phygen spent $0 on lobbying, though they are listed as a client with a different firm.

There may be a story here, but I'm not sure what it would be.
